Sanika Kulkarni
Rooted in curiosity, Sanika brings a spatial and research-driven lens to her work. Originally from India, her journey as an architect led her to the Savannah College of Art and Design, where she earned her MFA in Interior Design with an award-winning thesis, using design as a tool to address gendered experience in public spaces, a thread that continues to run through her practice.
As a Junior Designer at V Starr, Sanika approaches each project with an eye for detail, user experience, and the stories spaces can tell. Outside the studio, she draws inspiration from new cuisines and the art she discovers along the way.
Apart from seeing design as more than aesthetics, she is committed to using her platform to advocate for women's rights, and shaping environments that work for everyone who moves through them.
