Gracie Huden
Gracie Huden, a Baton Rouge native, is a passionate and driven interior designer who spent her childhood drawing floor plans, rearranging her room and watching HGTV. It was while watching HGTV that she quickly realized that interior design could be a paid career and enrolled in a 2 week summer design program in Italy while in high school. It was this trip that laid the foundation for a promising future in the field and set her path forward.
During her studies at Auburn University, she worked for a residential firm in Baton Rouge and online with Modsy. She graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Interior Design, and seeking new challenges and opportunities to further develop her career, Gracie made the bold decision to venture south to Florida and joined the team at V Starr.
Gracie’s attention to detail and keen eye for design has had her quickly gaining experience on a wide range of projects, from overseeing the CA phase of a twin tower multifamily residential project in West Palm Beach, to designing the FF&E for a private beach club and hotel rooftop bar.
She is dedicated to mentoring the junior members of the team and her approachable and friendly nature encourages young designers to explore their creativity and develop their skills, making her an invaluable resource and a trusted guide to those just starting their careers.
In her free time, Gracie is an avid reader and loves to draw and spend time outside with her favorite people and her dog, Bud.
